Women
returning to work after a career break have no fears about their abilities to
handle new office technology, but they do worry about childcare facilities,
according to a new survey.
The
results from Pitman Training’s annual nationwide Women Returners Survey showed
that 90 per cent of respondents, ranging from 20 to 50 years of age, claimed
they had no worries about getting to grips with new software.
This
is a big turn around on last year’s result, when 63 per cent of women returning
to work admitted their fears over using software packages such as Word, Excel
and PowerPoint.
