The monthly Report on Jobs, published by the Recruitment & Employment Confederation and consultancy Deloitte, shows signs of cooling demand for staff in June. Recruitment grew at its slowest pace for 20 months and demand for nursing/medical staff showed an outright decline for the first time in the eight-year history of the report. Salary inflation also eased to its weakest level since February 2004.
