As long as HR backs the bullies nothing will change

It is great to read your stories on the impact of bullying/harassment in the workplace. However, despite overwhelming statistics, employers are still ignoring the advice to take action.

Since graduating I have lost three jobs due to bullying by line managers – and there is nothing in the law to protect me.

I complained verbally and then followed up my complaints in writing when nothing was done. I am confident that the complaints prompted the employers to sack me, and top management/HR took the word of the managers over mine.

The acts of these companies are ruining my life, and no doubt others who have to suffer in silence or end up jobless if they speak out.
