People applying to work in the north-west London Borough of Brent, could soon be reading the same information about the opportunities, transport links and facilities in the borough regardless of which employer they are hoping to work for.

A Brent Job Pack will be used by the council, health authority, police force and educational institutes and will also be available to private companies, charities and small businesses.

Councillor Paul Lorber, leader of Brent Council, said: “This is a very exciting development as the pack will be available to all organisations.

“Brent has more people of working age and more management and professional jobs than the national average and I am very pleased to see public agencies and businesses co-operating in this way.”

The 10-page pack will be officially launched at the first conference of the Brent Local Public Service Board on Tuesday (27 March).
