CiB launches new-style strategy awards

by Personnel Today 12 Jun 2008
by Personnel Today 12 Jun 2008

The 2008 Communication Strategy Awards has become the first CiB award programme to focus solely on internal communications.

Awards chairman Dave Morris comments: ‘Internal communications strategy has always dominated in this programme, and the past couple of years have seen the number of external classes gradually diminish. Going internal-only is the next natural step.

‘The new focus gives greater scope to refine and expand the internal offering, ensuring the programme always reflects current communication practice.’

There are twelve classes of award this year, ranging from employee engagement, merger/change, internal event and global campaign to those recogising the best agency/ consultancy, internal communications team and communications training programme.

Channel strategy is a completely new class for 2008. This award recognises outstanding achievement in developing a fully integrated channel strategy, based on clearly researched and defined audience needs.
