The
Health & Safety Executive has updated plans for reviewing London
Underground’s move to a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
The
final review is crucial as the London Underground cannot operate as a PPP unless
HSE accepts the latest revised safety case.
The
HSE plan outlines the work the department has been doing to determine if
preparations are acceptable on health and safety grounds.
There
will also be further scrutiny of the draft PPP contracts to ensure consistency
with the safety case.
Most
of the work outlined in the plan is due to be completed this month.
