Isos Housing Group at home with MidlandHR’s iTrent

by Personnel Today 2 Oct 2009

Having signed a five year in-house software contract, Isos Housing Group is feeling right at home with MidlandHR’s iTrent, the single, integrated and zero footprint solution. In addition to HR management, administration and payroll, the regional housing association group has selected eight additional modules to help drive significant efficiency gains and streamline key processes such as recruitment and people management.

Utilising iTrent’s intuitive web-based modules, Isos will implement multiple operating modules including Absence Management, Recruitment and Learning Events. Employee and Manager Self-Service will also be implemented, bringing together the skills and expertise of the three leading associations comprising Isos Housing Group – Milecastle Housing, NomadE5 and Castle Morpeth Housing.

Richard Ayling, senior group ICT manager at Isos, said: “As a leading provider of affordable and supported housing in the North East, the driving force behind everything we do is our belief that housing should be accessible and affordable for all.

“Through using iTrent’s Employee and Manager Self-Service capabilities, our 350 employees will benefit from  greater accessibility, control and responsibility. We look forward to MidlandHR providing us with improved visibility of strategic HR across the group.

“Our previous system did not provide the functionality we required, so we were keen to find an integrated solution to streamline our HR and payroll processes. Eight suppliers were invited to tender in March this year, with MidlandHR shortlisted to the final two, thanks to iTrent’s flexible and intuitive design.”

With the HR implementation scheduled to go live in October this year, followed by payroll in April 2010, the Isos team can look forward to the automation of their HR and payroll processes, minimising time spent on administrative tasks and enabling tighter focus on their efforts to become the largest, most cost effective and high performing registered social landlord group in the region.

Lawrence Knowles, managing director of MidlandHR comments: “The iTrent solution is an excellent choice in supporting Isos Housing Group in the achievement of its corporate objectives. Being zero footprint, its intuitive dashboards will enable all users to easily access the information they are looking for and combined with self-service, will deliver significant efficiency savings, streamlined operations and more time to focus on strategic goals.”
