Luxury hotel brand Kempinski selects Cezanne software

Kempinski Hotels is synonymous with distinctive luxury and impeccable service. Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, Kempinski Hotels owns and operates a prestigious international portfolio of 62 hotels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

“Kempinski Hotels employs over 10,000 people around the globe. We believe our people are the key to our success. In the hospitality business, looking after our people is of strategic importance. Kempinski is a rapidly growing company. We need to foster innovative and multi-cultural people management” says Reto Wittwer – President & CEO of Kempinski Hotels. Kempinski selected Cezanne’s Talent Management software to help the group manage its pioneering people vision.

Henrike Gosemann, Kempinski Vice President of Talent & Education explains: “At Kempinski it is all about people, talent development and employee empowerment. We are a dynamic company with an ambitious expansion strategy and we needed a talent management system that would help us manage our global people development programme. Cezanne Software has vast experience in the international talent software arena and this became very clear during the procurement process. Cezanne’s consultative approach and functionally rich solution was the perfect match for Kempinski.”

Kempinski Hotels overtook a stringent procurement process, which included consideration of all the major talent management software suppliers in the market. A series of demonstrations and workshops from suppliers followed, before client references were taken to ensure that Kempinski made an informed decision.

Henrike comments: “Cezanne’s talent management software will allow us to consolidate our currently very fragmented approach and provide us with the level of sophistication required to manage our high potentials and key positions more effectively. The system also gives us the tools to quickly find, analyse and report on the whole spectrum of talent related data, so that we can see who we have available to fill future roles and make informed decisions about development and resourcing, which is critical in the context of our growth plans.”
