The BBC has appointed Mike Gooddie as its employee relations and people strategy director. He will be the BBC’s chief negotiator with the unions at a corporate level, and will take responsibility for HR policies across the corporation. He will report to Stephen Kelly, director of BBC people. Gooddie was previously HR director at Great North Eastern Railways.
Jo Keegan has been appointed HR adviser at building and maintenance firm Interserve. Keegan was previously assistant HR manager at Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust.

Claire Milner has become HR manager at Chief Vehicle Rentals. She will be based at the head office in Paignton, Devon, and oversee the entire HR function, from setting procedures to updating contracts. Milner was previously personnel manager at the Belgrave Hotel.
