On the move: Alison Grace, Helen Sweeney, Ian Cheetham

Alison Grace has joined IT support services company Rackspace Hosting as HR director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Grace joins Rackspace from National Express, where she was HR director, and will be responsible for driving forward the people agenda.

Construction industry supplier the NG Bailey Group has appointed Helen Sweeney as group HR director. Sweeney joins the group from Co-operative Financial Services, where she was director of HR.

Ian Cheetham has been appointed HR director at the University of Bath. He will initiate and develop HR policies and objectives in line with university strategy, and be responsible for HR, staff development, health and safety, and the nursery. Cheetham was previously pro vice-chancellor and director of HR services at Middlesex University.
