Engineering consultancy White Young Green (WYG) has appointed Liz Zukowski as group HR director, based in Leeds. She was formerly HR director (North Region) for Ernst & Young, Zukowski brings 20 years HR experience to the WYG Group.

Julie Cunningham is to join Carey Jones Architects in the newly created role of personnel manager. Cunningham will be responsible for 150 staff in London and Leeds. She joins from Bradford District NHS Care Trust.

Fiona Guthrie has been appointed HR director at construction and development consultancy Simons Group. She will take full responsibility for the HR function and become a member of the board. Guthrie was previously HR director at Morrisons plc, a construction and services firm.

TLH Leisure Resort has appointed Jenny Shipton as training officer. Shipton will spearhead the company training programme and oversee 350 staff in four hotels.
