RAD Awards 2015 winners unveiled

by Rob Moss 2 Feb 2015
by Rob Moss 2 Feb 2015

Virgin Money and TMP Worldwide emerged from the 2015 RAD Awards with the coveted Work of the Year prize at a glittering black-tie ceremony on London’s Park Lane.

The RAD Awards, celebrating their 25th anniversary, recognise the best in recruitment advertising and communications.

This year’s host, Jimmy Carr, entertained around 1,100 industry professionals before presenting 18 category awards and one overall prize – the Work of the Year. All the winning employers and agencies are detailed below.

TMP Worldwide won Work of the Year after also winning the innovation category for its “immersive assessment” programme at Virgin Money. It also collected trophies for the best print advertisement and the best employer website.

Other agencies to win in more than one category included Bernard Hodes, NETEYE and Havas People.

Andrew Wilkinson, chair of the RAD’s judging panel, estimated that over the years almost 500 RAD Awards had been handed out in recognition of excellence in recruitment marketing.

“On this milestone occasion I believe that we should show our gratitude to our amazing hosts who, through boom time and recession, despite seismic shifts in recruitment media spend, have stuck with our industry through thick and thin,” he told guests.

Anna Eccleston, RBI Recruitment Media director, said: “What helps the RADs to remain the most respected and important awards in the industry is how the awards and categories continue to change and evolve, in line with how the world of recruitment communications is changing.”

The RAD Awards began in 1989 as the British Recruitment Advertising Awards, organised by Personnel Today and The Independent.
