Two adventurous employees at global oil giant BP are currently taking part in Global Challenge 2004, the world’s toughest round-the-world yacht race. Valeria Rosa, a logistics analyst from Sunbury, Middlesex, and Sasha Zamorouev, a geophysicist from Houston in the US can expect to spend up to 35 days at sea on board BP Explorer. They came through an internal competition for crew for the first leg of Portsmouth to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
