Spherion and Spring Group establish global recruitment process outsourcing

Spherion Corporation today announced its recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) services division has established a strategic alliance with Spring Group’s hyphen brand to offer RPO on a global scale.

As the first of its kind in the industry, the alliance will deliver the recruitment offerings of two leading RPO providers for companies’ hiring needs in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Spherion and hyphen will focus on providing end-to-end recruitment services for companies looking to find the most qualified candidates across multiple sectors and geographies.

Despite current economic conditions, human resource executives continue to face significant challenges finding the right talent and scaling their resources in a rapidly changing marketplace.

Spherion and hyphen will work together to strategically address the hiring needs of companies with both a regional and international presence.

“Companies are increasingly seeking recruitment providers that can deliver services on an international level,” said Rebecca Callahan, senior vice president of Spherion RPO.

“By creating a strategic alliance with Spring Group and hyphen, we are enhancing the breadth and reach of our offerings that will undoubtedly deliver long-term benefits for our clients. In addition, we both share a history of providing innovative solutions and sourcing strategies to our customers and have a common goal of consistently delivering service excellence in everything we do.”

Neil Jones, managing director of hyphen, added:

“Our decision to partner with Spherion is directly in line with our mission to provide clients with evolving services that support their organizations in a changing business environment. This alliance represents the next generation of recruitment process outsourcing as we believe we can now jointly offer companies a more unique and specialized solution for their global RPO needs.”

The recruitment teams will be based at Spherion’s main recruitment centers in the U.S. and hyphen’s regional centers in the U.K., Europe and Asia. Clients will have access to a wide range of recruitment services offered by both companies, including applicant tracking, assessment technology and real-time reporting for all RPO engagements.

The companies will work with clients on RPO engagements ranging from short-term recruiting projects to multi-year assignments.

In addition, the companies will provide contingent labor management services as part of their managed service provider (MSP) offerings.
