The Watford Community Housing Trust has appointed MidlandHR, the HR, payroll, talent management and workforce planning solutions specialist for a five-year iTrent software contract. The Trust’s head of business services, Jeremy Soper, explains: “Integration across all payroll and HR activities was a fundamental driver for Watford Community Housing Trust. Web Recruitment and Self-Service for the entire workforce were also must-have system requirements, considered vital in delivering a streamlined HR and payroll service that takes care of our needs and priorities, now and in the future as our people strategies evolve. “MidlandHR was selected following a comprehensive procurement process and we believe that by partnering with an expert Housing Association provider and implementing their single web-deployed solution, we will achieve our strategic goals and future proof our systems and processes.” Iain Moffat, managing director at MidlandHR says: “With housing providers currently under considerable pressure following public sector spending cuts, iTrent will assist in enabling best practice processes whilst delivering real-time business information to inform people strategies and ultimately drive workforce optimisation. “MidlandHR’s business pack approach ensures that industry standard rules and calculations are embedded within the pre-configured database, saving both time and money during implementation and enabling faster realisation of value. This approach, coupled with our expert industry knowledge and experience, works well within the housing sector making us a supplier of choice. We are delighted to welcome Watford Community Housing Trust to our rapidly growing customer community and are sure that they will quickly begin to see the positive impact of the web-deployed iTrent solution and their new strategic partnership with MidlandHR.” Receive the Personnel Today Direct e-newsletter every Wednesday The agreement with MidlandHR covers the full suite of iTrent modules including core HR and Payroll, Manager and Employee Self-Service, and talent management functionality including Web Recruitment and Learning and Development, enabling the adoption of the most efficient operating models across the organisation.
