Topaz helps specialist personnel provider Venn break records

A specialist provider of professional temporary and interim personnel has broke all previous daily, weekly and monthly credit control records with the help of Topaz Credit Control.

The achievement by the Venn Group’s credit control staff helped them to win a new ‘Team Performance Award’ which – by coincidence – was sponsored by leading HR, payroll and financial software company Topaz.

Venn Group, which provides temporary and interim staff across the UK and Ireland, invited Topaz to present the company’s latest motivational award during the ‘Month End Wrap Up’ ceremony at the company’s London office.

Eddie Stanley, Topaz Sales Director, and Paul Ross, Topaz Account Manager, were on hand to launch and present the Topaz Award to Venn Group’s record breaking credit control staff who helped to reduce debtor days by utilising the proactive Topaz Credit Control solution, which can be used as a standalone product or as part of Topaz Financials.

“The staff awards and ‘End of Month’ events have been running for a number of years and when one of our previous awards was retained by the payroll department we asked Topaz to sponsor a new one,” explained Keith Wilmott, Venn Group Chief Finance Officer.

“By coincidence, staff in our credit control department became the first team to win the new award with the help of the Topaz Credit Control software.

“Topaz Credit Control is a fantastic product and is second to none in the market. It has amazing ability and has helped us to reduce our average debtor days to one of the lowest in our sector with our kind of client base.

“I think it is an incredible system and the fact that it also provides scanned images of invoices and timesheets, as well as complete visibility of all activities, has been a real advantage for the credit control staff. They deservedly won the first Topaz Award by beating all of our previous records stretching back six years.”

Eddie Stanley, Topaz Sales Director, revealed that the success of the Topaz Credit Control solution at Venn Group has mirrored the impact it has been making in the recruitment and personnel sector.

“We were delighted to be invited by the Venn Group to sponsor and present the award, especially as Topaz Credit Control played such a key role in helping to win it,” said Eddie Stanley, Topaz Sales Director.

“This highlights the benefits that Topaz Credit Control can produce and why it is achieving such high levels of success in reducing debtor days for companies in the recruitment sector.”
