WHSmith is transferring the management and processing of its payroll, time and attendance and some of its HR administration to Ceridian Centrefile. It was previously carried out in-house. The seven-year contract includes payroll for 25,000 UK employees across 700 branches. Ceridian will provide management reporting facilities and HR self-service for office-based staff.
