Divestment company selects Cezanne Software’s global HR software solution

On 4 September 2009 Fortis Bank Nederland NV and BNP Paribas – BGL SA announced the sale of Intertrust to Waterland Private Equity Investments who acquired 100% of the shares in Fortis Intertrust Group Holding SA.

Whilst part of Fortis Bank Netherlands and BNP Paribas – BGL, Intertrust used their ERP system to manage their HR processes, however the divestment of the business meant that Intertrust required a new global HR software solution.

Intertrust, have been providing high quality and extremely reliable financial services for over 50 years and employ over 1,000 employees across 23 countries throughout Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. As with any divestment the speed at which an organization must become operational is crucial and inevitably, the Intertrust HR team was under intense pressure to choose the right solution in less than two months.

After a thorough research of leading HR software suppliers, the Intertrust HR project team felt that there were only three potential suppliers who could meet their global requirements. After a series of demonstrations and meeting with the suppliers’ clients, the Intertrust project team unanimously selected Cezanne Software as the supplier for their new global HR software solution.

Intertrust chose Cezanne’s on-demand HR software for its ability to support a global implementation and the flexibility of the web-based solution that will allow the system to evolve over time in line with Intertrust’s requirements. Intertrust expects the new software to support organizational strategy, improve levels of employee engagement, and retention throughout the organization. Intertrust will be implementing Cezanne’s core HR system with self-service plus the Training, Recruitment, and Succession & Career Planning modules.

Didier Favre, Intertrust’s Group HR Director (a.i.) comments: “Throughout the sales process the Intertrust project team has been extremely impressed with Cezanne’s responsive, professional and consultative approach. We have identified a global HR software supplier whose experience in delivering similar projects is first rate, acknowledged by the glowing reference we received from one of their customers involved in a similar implementation to ourselves.”

Didier continues: “With Cezanne’s global HR software Intertrust will be in a position to provide consistency for key HR processes and central reporting purposes whilst providing the local HR teams in each country with a function rich HR system to meet individual HR requirements, which is key for Intertrust. Whilst we will start with core HR first, we plan to follow this up very quickly with the implementation of Cezanne’s other modules. In particular, the visibility of Intertrust’s global talent is very important to the business so the experience of Cezanne in this area will help us considerably.”

Julie Windsor, UK Operations Director at Cezanne Software said, “Cezanne is delighted that Intertrust has chosen our on-demand HR software solution for global roll-out across the business. Our on-demand solution is particularly attractive to divesting companies as we can deliver solutions in a faster and much more cost effective way. An on-demand solution allows companies to benefit from all of the advantages of using our applications, without the overheads of managing the software and hardware environments.”
