HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) experts will be offering advice and support during a Twitter question and answer session running from 11-15 March 2013, which will discuss the implementation of real time information.
From 6 April 2013, employers will be required to report PAYE information to HMRC in real time (RTI), as opposed to annually.
Employers will need to send details to HMRC every time they pay an employee at the time they pay them and use payroll software (RTI) to send this information electronically.
HMRC’s director of general personal tax Ruth Owen said: “Employers need to act now to get ready for RTI. If you need some help and advice, visit our website. This interactive week will offer support and help to any employer looking for help.”
