Huxley Associates relaunches internal recruitment website

by Personnel Today 24 Oct 2007
by Personnel Today 24 Oct 2007

Huxley Associates, the international recruitment consultancy, has modernised and re-launched its internal recruitment website.

The new-look huxleyopportunities.com site is part of the companys internal recruitment drive to facilitate its ambitious plans for future growth.

After listening to the views of job-seekers on a global scale the marketing and in-house design teams at this award-winning agency revamped their previous site to make it more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing.

The stylish site features factual information on the companys achievements, its corporate values, future plans and much more and provides valuable advice for potential employees to prepare them for the interview process including an overview of the recruitment industry and maps to all Huxley offices.

It will also be updated with the latest company news and will include information on the hot-jobs currently available within the organisation.

Huxley marketing manager Karen OLeary held several focus groups with would-be candidates and recent company employees across their target areas to determine what should be included to attract the right candidates from all over the continent and beyond.

She said: “We regularly receive applications from candidates who have little or no prior knowledge of the recruitment industry and many of them find it difficult to envisage what is involved or how their careers will progress.

“On the new website we have tried to give job-seekers as much information as possible about the company and the industry to prepare them thoroughly for the interview process. We have also included an employee profiles section with a wide range of employees from different countries and backgrounds so they can see the diversity of our work force.”

Karen said that the feedback she has received on the site has been “excellent” and that job-seekers have commented that it is informative, memorable and enjoyable to use.

In the last year Huxley Associates has doubled its workforce to enable its diversification into new recruitment markets and facilitate the opening of several additional offices. The thriving company hopes that the new site will attract even more top candidates to apply to join its offices across the UK, Europe, USA and Asia.
