Maxwell Drummond International today announces a new management structure in its UK offices.

This move follows a period of rapid growth for the executive search and recruitment consultancy.

Turnover has increased annually by over 40% in each of the last three years and the company has recently opened three new southern hemisphere offices.

This further strengthens the business’ international operations, which it expects will account for 70% of turnover by 2010.

In its Aberdeen office, Stephen Sheal will take the new position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa and Jamie Ferguson will become Operations Manager.

In Maxwell Drummond’s London headquarters Scott MacDonald will take up the newly created position of Vice President of Corporate Services.

Andrew MacDonald, CEO of Maxwell Drummond says, “These new positions signify our intention to create a robust management team that will continue to drive the firm’s global expansion.  The company has grown very quickly in the last three years and we now need to concentrate on maintaining our strategic focus and developing our worldwide networks. These appointments are a key aspect of that.”

Stephen Sheal has worked with Maxwell Drummond for over three years and in his new role, Mr Sheal will spearhead the marketing and business development of Maxwell Drummond in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

He will also focus on the building the firm’s global brand within these regions.

Jamie Ferguson will head up Maxwell Drummond’s Aberdeen operations, overseeing a team of ten people.

He has worked with Maxwell Drummond for two years and in his new position, Mr Ferguson will be responsible for the consistent delivery of the firm’s executive search services, working closely with the company’s worldwide offices.

Scott MacDonald has worked with Maxwell Drummond for over ten years. As Vice President of Corporate Services, Scott will develop the firm’s training programmes and procedures throughout its UK and international locations.

Mr MacDonald will also be responsible for monitoring and managing succession planning and developing company talent.

Andrew continues, “We aim to build a globally integrated team that works together to deliver the best results for our clients.  This requires a high level of communication and information sharing between our team of 50 professionals, working worldwide. Our management team take this forward by developing and building on our global networks.

“To allow our growth to progress at a steady pace we will be continually developing our systems, procedures and strengthening the business team.  We have an in-depth understanding of the worldwide markets that we are operating in and to ensure that the Maxwell Drummond message is communicated clearly and consistently, we will be developing our global brand within our established locations and our new offices in Africa and Australia.”

Established in 1987, Maxwell Drummond provides executive search and consultancy services for the oil, gas and natural resource industries.

In addition to its UK operations in Aberdeen and London, Maxwell Drummond has established six international offices in Houston, Johannesburg, Sydney, Perth, Edmonton and Calgary.
