Mitchells & Butlers uses Change Work Now to enhance recruitment process

Online recruitment specialist, Changeworknow, has been appointed by pubs and restaurant operator Mitchells & Butlers to develop an online recruitment system to support management recruitment across its business.

“The new system, which went live in November 2007, encourages applicants to match their skills and experience to one of the company’s many leading brands and formats,” explains Lesley Nash, founder and managing director of Changeworknow.

“Candidates are supported throughout the entire recruitment process and are offered feedback on their application progress and overall suitability for the role they have selected,” says Nash.

The new recruitment system will deliver positive benefits to Mitchells & Butlers‘ recruitment process, such as improving the quality of candidates applying for roles, saving on administration, improving staff retention rates and reducing overall recruitment costs.

“The online recruitment system reduces the day to day administrative burden on the HR team, enabling us to be more focused on the assessment of applications and ensuring we select the best candidate for every role,” adds Alison Bance, HR manager at Mitchells & Butler.
