Lincolnshire Police has had to close its recruitment drive for new officers after running out of application forms.
More than 1,000 forms were requested in the first two hours of a recruitment campaign expected to last a week.

The force, which has 60 posts to fill this year, said it was “overwhelmed”, reports the BBC.
Senior recruitment officer David Freeman said: “This has been a fantastic response, but it is regrettable that there will be people who are disappointed that they were unable to get an application form.”
