Reading Football Club have joined a growing number of Premier League clubs this month by purchasing Select Software’s HR system, Select HR Insight and Clearvision.
After a thorough shortlisting process by the Club, Select Software has been chosen from a list of three possible providers.
Formed in 1871, Reading FC have come a long way since their first matches were played at Reading Recreation Ground. The club’s history has been a true roller coaster, having fought back from near disaster in 1983 when it almost ceased to exist to its place today as one of the main players in the Premier League.
The Royals’ current home is the impressive Madejski Stadium, a splendid purpose-built, 25,000 all-seater ground, where they have been in residence for the last 10 years.
As Reading FC did not have an automated HR system in place, it was very important to them to find a solution that would accommodate both their current needs and those in the future, as they expand. They needed a solution that was easy to use by regular professional employees as well as those people who only required access occasionally to update personal details and request absences.
Select HR Insight and Clearvision will provide all these functions and will also help automate key HR processes across the Club whilst providing data and reports of the Club’s choice at the click of a button, which will be available to both managers and staff through Clearvision where necessary.
