by Personnel Today 15 Apr 2010

With 135,144 unique users (ABCe Oct, 2009) the National Online Recruitment Audience Survey results prove that SecsintheCity is the leading job site for mid to senior level PAs, secretaries and office professionals.

SecsintheCity has large populations of PAs, secretaries and office professionals covering all sectors with a particular focus on banking and finance (12%), law (8%), health/care (6%) and retail (5%).

Attracting mid to senior level PAs and secretaries, with 32% earning over £30,000 and 53% with 10 or more years experience, SecsintheCity’s candidates are serious about their career. More than half (56%) have A levels or a higher academic qualification and 80% would take a course to improve their career.

The results indicate a highly active candidate base with 117,575 users actively looking for a new job and 16,217 open to opportunities. Moreover, 95% have applied for at least one job online in the last month.

Gemma Swain, Head of Sales comments: “With such significant high-calibre candidates across the key sectors, we know that recruiters and employers will find the right candidate for their secretarial or administration role on SecsintheCity.

“SecsintheCity is the only job site in our sector to participate in this year’s NORAS. Because this is an independent audit our candidates and clients can rely on the facts – SecsintheCity is the best job site for talent in this sector” concludes Swain.

Testament to the high quality service received by candidates, a massive 36% reached the site through recommendation – that’s 48,652 users referred to the site and 73% come back to the site for its good selection of employers or jobs.
