RAD Awards open for entries, celebrating 25 years in recruitment communications

The 2015 RAD Awards have opened for entries, celebrating 25 years of the very best in recruitment communications.

Direct recruiters, recruitment agencies and HR teams that have produced outstanding recruitment campaigns are invited to enter for their chance of glory at the glittering RAD Awards ceremony in January 2015.

Peter Clarke, sales director at RBI Recruitment Media, the organiser of the event, said the industry has changed considerably since the awards first launched as the British Recruitment Advertising Awards: “We’ll be taking a trip down memory lane to see the type of work and creative work the advertising agencies have produced over the past 25 years, and we might even take a look at some of the winning work back in the nineties!”

2015 RAD Awards categories

  • Audio Visual
  • Outdoor, Events and Experiential
  • Candidate Engagement
  • Candidate Interaction (inc Gamification, Competitions)
  • Best Print Advertisement

TMP Worldwide chief executive Andrew Wilkinson chairs the RADs judging panel for a second time. As an attendee at the first RAD awards he said he is relishing his involvement: “Recognising creative and innovative recruitment advertising and communications is as relevant today as it was in 1990.

“Attracting and engaging great talent is still the goal, but today’s organisations have a vastly different media and channel landscape to cover with new and exciting challenges.”

A new category for 2015 is Candidate Interaction. Recognising the increasing use of “gamification” in the industry, this award will go to the most original and effective initiative, which has a strong element of game playing or problem solving.

The RAD Awards will be held on 29 January 2015 at Grosvenor House – a JW Marriott Hotel – on Park Lane, London.
