The research from Teletext Holidays shows that more than half (54 per cent) have got up to two full weeks left to take, while a further 10 per cent have in excess of 15 days, which they must try to take during December.
Marc Bell, managing director of TeletextHolidays.co.uk, said: “It would seem a lack of planning is leaving millions of workers sitting at home on days off. Bosses and workers alike should look to spend more time planning annual leave at the start of the year to avoid not making the most of holidays – it’s important to have a work-life balance.”
