Royal Mail has selected Capita Learning & Development as its preferred supplier to provide open courses and in-house training to its employees.
The in-house element of the contract means Capita will work with the Royal Mail to develop a range of training programmes for its tens of thousands of workers.
Staff, including first and second line managers, will have access to a range of open courses, from advanced communication skills, to handling people and difficult situations.
Richard Reid, learning designer at Royal Mail, said: “As one of the UK’s largest employers, we take training very seriously and are constantly reviewing the provision we offer to our employees. We selected Capita Learning & Development because of its ability to deliver services across the UK, mapping the Royal Mail’s extensive network of locations.”
