Christian Aid switches outsourced payroll to Northgate HR

Christian Aid has announced plans to outsource its payroll function.

The charity has chosen provider Northgate HR to manage its payroll from January 2007.

Christian Aid will be able to calculate payroll costs in real time and report on things such as absence and staff turnover.

The charity previously outsourced its payroll to another provider, but after a period of significant growth it felt the provider was not meeting the charity’s needs. It reviewed the market and spoke with three major charities already using Northgate’s payroll system.

Malcolm Aldis, managing director of Northgate HR, said: “I am very pleased that Christian Aid has chosen to use our outsourced payroll service and am confident that we will solve its payroll issues.”
