Candidate experience

Engaging with candidates for job vacancies is a key element of employers’ candidate-attraction strategy. The process of engaging with candidates is often referred to as the “candidate experience”.

Employers should strive to develop good relationships with all applicants who are engaged in the candidate-attraction process. It should view the attraction and recruitment process as another product or service that the organisation provides to a group of customers, in this case potential employees.
