Family-friendly benefits

There are statutory requirements covering pay and leave associated with maternity, paternity and adoption, but many employers provide benefits in excess of the statutory requirements.

One of the most common family-friendly benefits is the provision of childcare vouchers. However, the Government has announced that these will be replaced with a childcare allowance from 2017.
